DAF CONNECTS LOCAL BREWERY &
INVESTORS WITH THEIR COMMUNITY
Opening a locally owned and run craft brewery was a big commitment for the Luverne community, but through the support of local investors and community patronage, they have been more than successful. Because of this, the locally owned LLC wanted to give back. A business Donor Advised Fund at the Luverne Area Community Foundation was established called the Take 16 Give Back Fund. Giving back helps Take 16 feel connected and grateful for all the support they have been given.
Their business Donor Advised Fund or DAF was easy to set up and has helped Take 16 donate to a variety of local nonprofits in the area.
The Take 16 advisory board hopes that by engaging with charitable organizations they can be a part of creating opportunities, collaborative relationships, shared resources and ultimately help build community.
